The Trews Acoustic: Friends & Total Strangers

Earlier this year, the good people at Bumstead productions connected FrameBlender with The Trews.  Together we collaborated to create a DVD that would coincide with the release of the band’s first acoustic album Friends & Total Strangers.  On October 6, the DVD was released and includes performances from the band’s two nights at the Glenn Gould Studio on January 30 & 31.  FrameBlender captured both nights with eight cameras, while audio was handled by the talented team at the Glenn Gould Studio.

The bold Concert Series

Production on the first season of The Bold Concert Series came to an end with the filming of both the Constantines and The Waking Eyes at The Phoenix Concert Theatre.  After eight shows and multiple venues, there could not have be two better bands to end season one.  A mixture of raw performances and intimate interviews, the series also included The Stills, Two Hours Traffic, Justin Rutledge, The Trews, Land of Talk, Jason Collett. New Studio

After more than five years at our home on Adelaide, FrameBlender is moving.  The core business of FB has vastly evolved over the years, starting with only three high definition edit suites the company has grown to include eight edit suites with full production capabilities (six cameras) and even some multi track audio capability.  As our lease was coming to an end we had to take a serious look at some of the pros and cons of staying in the space we had come to love.  It was finally determined that there were a list of needs our business required and that moving was the only option.
